About LOUIE VEGA:
Impossible to pigeonhole and irreplaceable in the scene which he has helped build over more than 20 years, Grammy Award winner, Louie Vega is the quintessential house music professional. He’s the ‘DJ’s DJ’, that name constantly thanked on an artists albums, the one who has influenced and defined countless other DJ-producers, from today’s brightest stars to those still beat-matching in their bedrooms. Louie was one of DEEP-LA’s first DJs in 1998, and has appeared at DEEP events over 16 times in between.
About MARQUES WYATT:
Marques Wyatt is a relentless pioneer and undoubtedly one of the most respected DJs coast to coast in the USA. Many associate him with “DEEP-LA,” the illustrious event (14 years running) that he has nurtured in his hometown of Los Angeles-thriving and evolving every day for 14 years. About DOC MARTIN:
Most of the new breed of jet setting club and rave DJs come from such cities as New York, London and Chicago, but Doc Martin hails from Los Angeles representing the West Coast worldwide. Doc began his mission on the decks back in the summer of 1986. His focus on house music from the land of funk and disco was triggered while playing the club and warehouse scene in San Francisco. As one of the major players in laying the foundations of a strong West Coast dance scene, Doc has always been a master of mixing the crowd with the music.
About JOSH MILAN:
Josh Milan’s music career started with a single moment. Milan was a mere twelve years old when he saw an opportunity to show off his skill on the organ and, without a second’s hesitation, he took it. The Brooklyn native made a habit of sitting near his cousin, the church organist, each and every Sunday. Milan would go on to team up with deejay Kevin Hedge and singer Chris Herbert to form the group Blaze, a band that became known for its unique brand of house music laced with heavy gospel, soul and afrobeat rhythms. “You couldn’t tell me I wasn’t famous,” Milan gushes. “I’d listen to the radio and hear them play a Michael Jackson record and then they’d play a Blaze record.” Blaze released three albums on Motown Records and drew the attention of the industry with their remix of Lisa Stansfield’s “People Hold On.” They also worked with such notables as Diana Ross, Babyface, El DeBarge and Jody Watley. His catalog totals over two hundred published works, making it the largest catalog produced by any single entity in the genre.
As we move through daylight hours with flashes of the disco behind our eyes and pounding bass keeping time in our hearts, we know that the music has moved us. The hours of night stay within us. And there we find who we are.
