Academix is a Music Ed/Tech BEAT Lab powered by MUSIC to the Ears Foundation, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization based in Los Angeles, California. 

What is a BEAT Lab?
A B.E.A.T Lab is a collaborative workspace to create, explore and educate students about music with an entrepreneurship angle, which incorporates a mix of Business, Entertainment, Arts and Technology. We combine a blended learning environment and proprietary teaching methods with the application of cutting-edge technology to enhance the learning process and stimulate creativity.

MUSIC to the Ears is an educational platform and community development initiative operating as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. They teach life skills through music education programs and interactive workshops that help to improve academic, cognitive and social performance.

Their mission is to prepare young adults to qualify for career opportunities in the music and entertainment industries. They provide music education and training through workshops, seminars and panels to students of all ages by using analog, digital and electronic instruments and equipment.
