The 13th Annual Dance Parade & Dance Fest is Saturday, May 18th …yaaaaaay one more time!!!

Please come out and support our 2019 House Coalition Fundraisers and dance with us on parade day. It’s only because of all of you and your generous donations that help us with our float’s production and other cost; that have made it possible for us to be in the parade for 13 years!! WOW!!! We’re looking to make this the BIGGEST-BESTEST-YEAR yet!!!! BIGBIGLUV&APPRECIATION in our hearts for our LOveTribe …

We’re thrilled once again to host our annual fundraiser at the super fun and ultra cool Nowadays ~ The party kicks off at 7pm and finishes at mid-night.

Sabine’s Bio
Dj Sabine’s work focuses on the exposure and pleasures of African Diasporic music. Brooklyn Mecca and Oyasound are a few of her creative projects. Over the years, Dj Sabine’s mainstay and cultivation has been the monthly event Brooklyn Mecca which has been coined the home of “Grassroots Dance Culture”. Her Oyasound Ep is currently in the works. Sabine worked for Ocha Records label as a Brand Marketing Director/Producer and Bembe NYC Party resident DJ. Dj Sabine spins Global Soul: Hip-Hop, House, Afrotech, Afrobeat, Haitian Roots and other Diasporic tunes. She’s had the great opportunity to spin nationally in the US in NYC, Atlanta, St. Louis, Memphis, Chicago, Omaha, Boston, Miami, LA/Oakland, NJ, Washington DC, Dallas, Denver and internationally in Montreal, Dakar, Haiti, & Cancun. She sits on several panel discussions for the well renown Caribbean Culture Center African Diaspora Institute (CCCADI), highlighting the power of spirituality in the arts and has been honored as an emerging artist at the 27th Annual Women of Power Conference 2014: The Art of Being a Women on Mar. 15th, 2014. Sabine has also made the Most Respected House DJ’s List of 2014 by MediaServiceNyc for recognized innovative djs. Most recently, in June 2014, Sabine produced her 1st installment of her project Lakay Se Lakay: Home Is Home http://ow.ly/ACAhB a Haitian electronic artists conversation series & No Passport (NYC Edition) party in conjunction with Haiti Cultural Exchange’s 1st NYC Haitian Arts & Culture festival Selebrayson!.

Loft Kid Luis is a disciple of David Mancuso and a core member of The Loft family; and the founder of House Coalition. He got his moniker at age five, when his mother brought him to The Loft and introduced him to David Mancuso.

Ali’s Bio
Born in Newark NJ and raised on a secret baby formula of Soul, Disco, Rock, Jazz, Gospel, Funk, and all things great music, I’ve been a DJ since 1979. Organizer of the Voice of voice NYC & Family Dance Brooklyn parties; Professionally I’ve been serving up soulful house, disco & everything in between to some of New York’s best dance floors since 1999; sharing the bill with over 200 DJ’s including: Francois K, Danny Krivit, Frankie Bones, Rich Medina, Justin Carter, DJ Spinna, Afrika Bambaataa, Jellybean Benitez, Spinderella, Rob Paine, Alex From Tokyo, Justin Paul and many others. NYC Party Organizer since 1994, I’ve hosted parties & have played some of NYC’s top clubs & party spaces including Cielo, Santos Party House, Nowadays, Bossa Nova Civic Club, House of Yes, Shelter, Element, Birdland, CBGB’s, Water Taxi Beach, Limelight and more. I’ve worked w/ some of NYC’s top Party Organizers & Promoters including Benny Soto, Redness Kim Hayes, Joann Jimenez, Erica Ruban, Jon Martin and many others. As a NYC Nightlife Advocate, I’m fortunate to be one of a group of people instrumental in helping in the recent repeal of the NYC’s (No Dancing) Cabaret Law.
