Summer Sounds kicks off with Blanco y Negro, a Los Angeles-based Latin ska band that has been entertaining audiences with their infectious rhythms and upbeat sound for over a decade. Andre Cruz and Chris Lujan, backed by the five-piece Black Diamond Rhythm Band, dish up their own unique recipe of fuzz heavy, groove-infused, crooning sweet soul and funk that’ll either lay you out with a heavy heart or have you shaking what yo’ mama gave ya’! And DJ Monalisa, a DJ that has been associated with quality music in Los Angeles for three decades.
