Fusicology is going to SXSW! This year SXSW music is celebrating it’s 31st year. During SXSW (March 14-18) music artists will embark upon Austin, Texas from 26 countries representing sounds from across the globe. According to SXSW, highlights include Pro Era rapper and founding member CJ Fly, rising R&B singer Kadhja Bonet, Cuban rapper-singer La Dame Blanche and others.
We are excited to check out Kweku Collins at the Mohawk Indoor on March 16, 2017(11:15pm – 12:00 am). Kweku is a rapper/producer/songwriter from Evanston, Il. In 2016 Kweku released Nat Love which has landed him in publications such as FADER, Billboard and more.
You can register for SXSW 2017 here. Your SXSW Music badge grants you access to the Music Festival Showcases and gives you access to daytime Conference Sessions from March 10-19. On March 13, 2017 we will check out the following:

The SXSW Music Opening Party is sponsored by Sensu Music and will take place on on Tuesday, March 14 at Maggie Mae’s from 6-9PM. Fusicology will be there to support Noname and check out the sounds of other artists chosen to headline this iconic event. The Music Opening Party is open to Music and Platinum badges as well as artist wristbands.

DJ Lo Down Loretta Brown aka ERYKAH BADU and the Wu-Tang Clan perform at Austin City Limits live at the Moody Theater on March 14, 2017. Several Hip Hop / Rap showcases are taking place on March 14, 2017 at 512 which is located at 408 E. 6th Street.
