His musical journey began with family influences—his father, a musician, and his DJ uncle—igniting a passion that would lead him from bedroom mixes at age 10 to sharing stages with legends. A product of New York’s iconic club scene, Stingray perfected his craft at venues like The Devil’s Nest, Red Zone, and Webster Hall, earning his stripes alongside industry giants such as Larry Levan, Todd Terry, and Little Louie Vega.
A shift to Miami saw Stingray become a fixture in South Beach’s nightlife, headlining at elite spots like Crobar, Space, and Blue Lounge. His career spans continents, with high-profile performances at festivals such as Ultramar in Brazil, and a reputation that earned him the honor of being the official DJ for the first Playboy tour across South America.
Not just a DJ, but a visionary performer, Stingray’s experience as a professional dancer for top hip-hop and R&B acts adds a unique flair to his sets, which seamlessly blend rhythm, percussion, and globally-inspired sounds. Since 2012, DJ Stingray has taken his sound global with “Tribal Life,” a weekly show that started on UniverseMiami.com and now airing Sundays on Twitch from 12-3 PM. The show has become a cornerstone for his fans, showcasing his ability to innovate and elevate electronic music on a worldwide stage.
