Grand Marnier Raspberry Peach Summer Solstice: Event Photos
The Grand Marnier Raspberry Peach Summer Solstice bash at the Hollywood Roosevelt on Sunday, 6/21 featured a number of experiential stations and offerings like innovative cocktails, spirited snow cones, a DIY muddled lemonade stand, a braid bar by GLAMSQUAD, metallic tattoos by Dash of Flash, flower crowns, a photo booth, freshly infused water and more.
DJ Rashida kicked off the party with a great list of tunes ranging from hip-hop and soul to dancehall and house. One of the most sought-after DJs in the world, Rashida previously toured with Prince and has also opened for Kanye West, The Roots, John Legend and more.
Soon after, V Bozeman (of FOX’s “Empire”) broke out into a soulful rendition of her single “What Is Love,” as well as a few additional new tracks. Her stunning asymmetrical, monochrome dress was accented with a large gold statement necklace, a chunky gold two-finger ring, and dark loafer-style booties.
At sunset, Luke James took the stage and made the ladies in the crowd swoon and cheer, singing “Make Love To Me” and showcasing his signature falsetto in a rendition of “Glass House.” After the R&B crooner exited the stage, Luke sent single red roses as a gesture of appreciation to some of the ladies in the house.
The night closed out with tunes from the glam DJ Eque, who offered a mix of rap, hip-hop, reggae and classics. As one of LA’s hottest DJs, Eque has also been a tour DJ for Beyonce, Usher, Faith Evans, B2K and more.
