10th Annual Roots Jam Session & Serato Pyro Launch with John Legend, Leon Bridges, Nelly, Tori Kelly & Many More
The 10th Annual Roots Jam Session and launch party for new iOS music player app Serato Pyro kicked off last night with a four hour jam session from The Roots and surprise performances from some of this year’s Grammy nominated artists and all-time favorites. The Roots were first joined by 2016 Grammy nominee Kehlani for a couple of songs. John Legend then took over the stage with a piano to continue to bring down the house with The Roots. Best New Artist nominee and the most recent star to join The Voice as Adam Levine’s advisor, Tori Kelly then took the stage and performed 3 songs with her guitar. Indie artist Bilal jammed out before Jeremih jumped up to sing several of his famed hip hop songs, including “Don’t Tell Em.” Finally, Nelly surprised the crowd and performed 3 of his classics, “E.I.,” “Ride Wit Me,” and Hot in Herre.” Leon Bridgesand Natasha Bedingfield were also in attendance.
