EVENT POSTING FAQ:
How do I post an event?
Fusicology has two types of logins, Promoter and General, only Promoters may post events by logging in. If you are unable to login, please reset your password here. If you forgot your user name, contact us to request a reminder from the email used to register the Promoter Account.
If you are a new Promoter seeking to add an event, please register and select a “Promoter” account. General account users cannot add events. If you would like to change your account to a Promoter account, please contact us.
I am logged in, how do I post an event?
Once you are registered as a promoter, you may post events here by choosing “Add Event” under “Manage Events” – events go live right as you save them to our database.
How do I edit or delete an event?
Login to your promoter account, click “Manage Events” and click on the Red “X” to the right of the event, it will ask you if you are sure you want to delete your event, click “Yes” and the event will be taken off the live site and placed into the Archive folder.
If the event you want deleted is NOT one you posted, please send a Delete Event request on our Contact page
How do I become the Event Manager of an event so I can edit an event already posted on Fusicology?
Please register here and select a “Promoter” account and in the Event Description please include the name or link of event which you are requesting to edit/manage. If you are already registered, email us your request via our contact form
I have a Promoter Account but have lost my password and/or user name, what do I do?
If you are unable to login, please reset your password here.
My event has been Archived (i.e a past event now deleted) how can I unarchive/reinstate the event?
Login to your Promoter Account, Click on “Archived Events” in your event management tool. Check the event on the left hand side that you wish to reinstate and then click on the green arrow on the right side and it will “Activate This Event”.
How do I get Featured on the site and on a Dedicated Local Newsletter Blast?
Fill out the Event Feature Request Form. We have various, affordable and targeted local and national promotion packages.
I am getting “Vanity URL already exists when I try and update my event, what do I do?
Simply pick a new Vanity URL, and as long as it doesn’t already exist in the system, once you press Save/Upload and you’ll be all set.
