Born in Morelia Michoacán Mexico; Ethos immigrated to Los Angeles were he made a name for himself through commitment and on-point performances with the ethical integrity a true Hip Hop Dj always has on stage.  All this clearly rooted from his early influences of the 90′s “Golden Era.”  In 2004 he came into the light as part of the dynamic MC / DJ duo Jroz and Ethos – both setting a standard in the Los Angeles underground Hip Hop scene. This opened up more doors thus giving him the opportunity to link up with Bocafloja, one of Mexico’s most influential and respected emcees. This solidifying his role as a member of Quilombo Arte and as a respected Dj in Mexico’s and the Los Angeles Hip Hop scene.  Before that honor he was already part of the world wide known Project Blowed, one of the most ground braking and innovative Los Angeles based crews of our time.

Since then, Ethos has worked and shared the stage with many different artist from around the world. You can always find DK Ethos in Los Angeles at his resident night SUBSUELO and around the nation showcasing his skills through conscious selections and a classic approach.

LA TIGRESA
Cristina Lucio “La Tigresa” is a Los Angeles flamenco dancer devoted to the study of flamenco puro.  She is a dancer for the Sakai Flamenco Company and a performing artist for the Los Angeles Music Center. She has also toured with the show “Battle of the Dance” at the Flamingo Casino in Las Vegas. Cristina studies locally with Linda Andrade and regularly studies in Spain with world renowned flamenco bailaora Carmelilla Montoya and the legendary Angelita Vargas. For the last two years, Cristina has been the flamenco director for Subsuelo, recently recognized by LA Weekly as the “Best Party in East LA.”
