I'm excited to present to you guys a special June 19 2012 edition of Disco-nnection featuring a release party of a never before issued Evans Pyramid album (cd/lp) by boston based Cultures Of Soul label which specializes in helping shine light on obscure soul, funk, disco music from 70s/80s. We will be joined by Andre Evans himself, the man behind the sought after 12s and 45s from this group, whose sound was incredibly soulful and clearly ahead of its time. Now all his work is finally available on one cd and double vinyl including unreleased bonus material, and it will not break your pocket anymore..
My man Deano Sounds from Cultures Of Soul will be spinning an opening set of all kinda funky things followed by yours truly with all the classics and other heatrocks... hope to see ya'll there!!!
