Highline Ballroom, Toshi Reagon and Allison Miller present Celebrate! The Great Women of Blues and Jazz. The show will feature performances by Tamar-kali, Christelle Durandy, Karma, Mayet Johnson, M. Nahadr, Imani Uzuri, Josette Marchak, Toshi Reagon, with host Liza Jessie Peterson and special guest dancer Michelle Dorrance. Featured instrumentalists will include Allison Miller on drums, Mimi Jones on bass, Alex Nolan on guitar, Tanya Darby on trumpet, and Reut Regev on trombone. The show is presented by Jill Newman Productions.
