Thanks to everybody that has been joining us every week at MOM LA (Motown On Mondays) over the past four months that we have been in effect! The continuing growth of the party has been encouraging to the whole crew and we could not do it with out all of you loyal supporters that keep spreading the gospel about our Monday night soul oasis. Over the short time we have been operating, we've been blessed with an incredible lineup of guests and lots of party-goers that come through ready to dance. As time moves on, we have lots of very special nights ahead of us.
This Monday, April 30th, we will be hosting a Coast 2 Coast edition of MOM LA with the world famous DJ SPINNA from NY (mystery guest revealed), MOM SF crew members Timoteo Gigante & Gordo Cabeza (founders of Motown On Mondays), as well as MOM LA residents DJ Expo & DJ Jedi holding it down in the mix. This is definitely going to be another beautiful night for the books, so make sure you mark your calendars and don't sleep on this one!

MOM (Motown On Mondays) has been running for nearly 3 years in San Francisco and was founded by DJs Gordo Cabeza & Timoteo Gigante. Over the past few years MOM has become a hometown favorite amongst Bay Area party goers. Every Monday hundreds of soul thirsty, dance ready folks from all industries converge on MOM's dance floor to absorb and reflect the love that some the best DJs on the west coast and beyond have to offer.
Recently Gordo and Timo had decided to spread the wings of the party and bring the magic of Motown to other cities like Honolulu and Los Angeles!
Since December of 2011, Every Monday in LA has been different with a fresh new weekly dance party that showcases some of the most classic soul tunes, forgotten gems, remixes and related off-shoots/inspirations from the Motown catalog. Being only 3 months old, MOM LA is gaining momentum and has hosted special edition nights including a J Dilla tribute night with House Shoes, a Chicago Soul vs Motown Sound night with Impala Sound Champions from Chicago, as well as a Stax vs Motown all-vinyl night with Bay Area guests Platurn & E Da Boss. The coming months will host another bunch of exciting nights with extra special guest lineups!
