FINAL FRIDAYS is the original hip hop nite of showcasing and programming the Dallas hip hop scene for nearly a decade (2000-09). During those years at The Liquid Lounge and The Gypsy Tea Room(now The Prophet Bar), FINAL FRIDAYS was responsible for putting on the likes of S1/STANGE FRUIT PROJECT, HEADKRACK from the Rickey Smiley Morning Team and HYRDROPHONIC SOUND SYSTEM whose Jeff "SKIN" Wade was producer and now DALLAS MAVS/ESPN analyst on the BEN & SKIN show..
Now FINAL FRIDAYS return marks a complete full circle and a return to the ways of the blues artists that used to permeate the sounds of the streets of Deep Ellum in the late 30's-early 40's. Here artists and DJs alike bring their A game when performing at FINAL FRIDAYS so you can expect the best during our bi-monthly/quarterly showcases!
