Join Headliners Wu-Tang Clan and Odd Future Saturday, April 7 at Southern California’s NOS Events Center Monster Energy Returns As A Festival Partner Sponsoring The Monster Energy Stage, Hosted By Grind Time The final line-up of the PAID DUES INDEPENDENT HIP HOP FESTIVAL--presented by independent hip hop pioneer MURS (Living Legends) in association with Guerilla Union (Rock The Bells, Cypress Hill Smokeout)--was announced today and includes the addition of Mac Miller, Three -6 Mafia, Brother Ali and many more, joining previously announced headliners Wu-Tang Clan and Odd Future. The seventh installment of the all-day, all-ages event--highlighting the most eminent and flourishing independent artists in hip hop--will take place on Saturday, April 7, 2012 at the NOS Events Center in San Bernardino, CA. "With the tremendous growth in independent hip hop every year there is more and more amazing talent to choose from. And as the spectrum broadens the goal of Paid Dues is to continue to be a platform that showcases every facet of the movement,” notes festival co-founder Murs. He continues, “With 50 artists spread out across three stages, there is guaranteed to be something for everyone. I'd personally like to thank all of our fans, supporters and sponsors for helping us make it to our seventh Paid Dues. We are all looking forward to another safe and successful year." Discussing the variety of artists on the line-up, Murs adds: “We’ve got performers on the bill ranging from young artists like Mac Miller who, despite taking the mainstream by storm, has chosen to stay independent to Paid Dues mainstay and arguably one of the best performers in the game Brother Ali. We also have underground godfathers Juicy J and DJ Paul known to many around the globe as the Academy Award-winning group Three-6 Mafia. And finally after a couple years of pursuit I personally am extremely happy to welcome Christian rap phenom and flat out dope lyricist Lecrae. Monster Energy returns this year as one of the driving partners of the Paid Dues Festival and looks forward to fans enjoying the more than 50 independent hip hop acts performing across three stages, including the mammoth Monster Energy Stage. Monster Energy is a company that chooses to support the scene, their bands & artists, their athletes and their fans instead of spending their money on ad agencies, TV commercials, radio spots, and billboards like most other companies. They promote concert tours, so their favorite bands and artists can visit your hometown and they are excited to return as a sponsor of the Paid Dues Festival. www.monsterenergy.com Tickets for the Paid Dues Independent Hip Hop Festival are available now via www.ticketfly.com.
