Semantic Seed was established in 2008 as a program under Global Business
Incubation, Inc. (GBI), a US non-profit 501(c)(3) corporation. Semantic
Seed is a "hybrid" of co-working and idea acceleration. The Labs mission is
to promote entrepreneurship and become a catalyst for early stage companies
to graduate into venture capital ready companies. Through our Global
Start-up Camps, Semantic Seed takes companies from IDEA to LAUNCH. We
empower entrepreneurs and have a strong focus on accelerating minorities and
women. Start-ups can capitalize on the experience, skills and networks that
Semantic Seed provides.
Citizen Space is a coworking space in San Francisco located at 425 Second St
on the first floor. Citizen Space was built by its co-founders on the idea
of taking the best elements of a coffee shop and a workspace- combining both
social and energetic, with productive and functional. As the new owners,
Semantic Seed takes pride in keeping with the original vision and vibe,
providing entrepreneurs the opportunity to have their own affordable space.
The Founder Institute is a start-up accelerator and entrepreneur training program focused on grooming entrepreneurs into CEOs. Through weekly sessions guided by renowned CEOs, the Founder Institute breeds disciplined founders ready to lead the next generation of high-tech companies. Participants enjoy a teamwork-oriented startup environment where equity is shared among all participants in the companies formed. The Founder Institute has chapters in 17 cities worldwide, and a network over 400 experienced Founder and CEO Mentors.
