In 2002, Submental (aka Angela Desjardins) began programming a free-form music show on Windsor Ontario's only public radio station CJAM 91.5FM. The forum was a perfect fit for this young woman. The airtime gave her an opportunity to intoxicate music lovers and late night listeners with exceptionally affective music, and sounds. Eventually, the show grabbed a real underground following, as well as a reputation for its unpredictability and “Pirate Radio” style.
