Join the Friends of the Oakland Fox for an Exclusive Event at the Restored Historic Oakland Fox Theater
Join us for Taste of the Fox on Monday, April 30th from 6-8 p.m. This exclusive event is a benefit for Friends of the Oakland Fox Theater and will feature Livermore Valley Wineries and Uptown Restaurants at the Mezzanine inside the Historic Oakland Fox Theater. Taste of the Fox is also the first event to be held in the Mezzanine since the reopening of the theater.
Enjoy fabulous views of the beautifully restored Oakland Fox Theater from the unique perspective of the Loge while sipping on wines from the Livermore Valley and sampling the menus of Uptown eateries. This event offers fans and friends of The Fox a unique opportunity to have an intimate personal experience at the theater.
The rebirth, and restoration of The Fox was vital for our City, cultural arts and the community. We now celebrate the living legacy of the Oakland Fox Theater and invite you to experience it for yourself at an intimate event in the Mezzanine of the Fox Theater. This is an exclusive private event and tickets are limited (only 200 available) and must be purchased in advance. This event will sell out! Only 200 tickets are available. Ticket price includes entry to the event and a tasting package, which includes a glass compliments of the Livermore Valley Wineries, unlimited wine tasting with 14 participating wineries and food provided by Uptown Restaurants.

A Taste of Oakland History
Spend an evening with people responsible for the restoration of the Historic Oakland Fox Theater. Friends of the Oakland Fox, the developer, architects, preservationists, City of Oakland staff will be present to answer questions. While you sip wine, learn more about this historic landmark, the restoration and the efforts to preserve the theater for generations to come. A Taste of Uptown Nightlife
The economic impacts of the Fox Restoration and the success of the theater since re-opening in 2009 are immense. The Fox Theater has become the shining light at the center of a thriving Uptown Arts and Entertainment District. Since the restoration of The Fox began, 41 new bars and restaurants have opened within a 1/2 mile from the theater. We will showcase the restaurants that surround the Fox to give our guests a Taste of Uptown Nightlife.
